    Aircraft blocking requests

    We will generally honor requests to block access to information about specific airframes. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
    Such requests needs to be made by the owner or designated representative of the airframe in question. Proof of ownership in the form of registration or ownership papers is required.

    Blocks remain active while the ownership of the aircraft remains the same and will automatically expire if the ownership changes. A new request can be submitted in such cases. All such requests can be made using the 'Contact' form at the bottom of each page.

    Right to be forgotten

    Certain countries and regions provide a "right to be forgotten" ability. We will consider any such requests on their merits. Only personal information is in scope and only under certain conditions. Information on assets, such as location, is generally not considered personal information. However, in good-faith, we will do our best to meet any reasonable request. All such requests can be made using the 'Contact' form at the bottom of each page. Additional proof of identity is required for all such requests.

    Third-party links

    Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites. We have not enabled Google AdSense on our site but we may do so in the future.

    European GDPR

    The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area. The only personally identifiable data that we hold is your email address (for users with accounts), a 'photographer bio' photo - if you choose to upload one, and IP address of the client you visit our site from. IP addresses are part of standard system access logging activities. Access logs are rotated frequently and not stored permanently.     California Online Privacy Protection Act

    CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy.     Flight privacy

    Aircraft owners can submit a request to block non-public information about their aircraft. Click here to start the process. Owners have 3 months to submit a copy of the official registration documents for the request to be made permanent. Blocks are made for specific aircraft by specific owners and will expire if the aircraft is re-registered or changes ownership. Each block request must be made separately. Information that is available from country registrars, manufacturers or government authorities, from the media or other websites is generally considered public information. Privacy laws do not generally apply to objects such as aircraft - however we aim to be a responsible aviation partner.
